The recipes sound great but they are not straight forward or quick, which when you have a baby is really important.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend the book.
I expected it to be a FULL course to weaning - in terms of recipes as well as info on textures etc. The book does cover this but not in great depth. It all made sense when you visit Anna karmel website as she wants to sell you the online course for all of this!
Covers - basics on when to wean/ how / why
Missed - adequate range of recipes - there’s a separate book for this of course!!
- lacks info on textures after pureeing
- limited recipes - most in 6-9m are variations of a croquette
I did have to read extra about safety around BLW though (for example difference between gagging and chocking)
