Great value nappies. Inserts are much better than generic microfibre cheapies.

Cloth diaper comparison
Reviewed in the United States on 15 January 2019Colour: Neutral Prints + 1 Wet BagVerified Purchase
I am new to being a mom as well as cloth diapering, but I've been happily using them over the past couple of months. Sorry for the lengthy review, but these are things I wish I had known so want to give a good summary. I purchased several different kinds through Amazon and here's my general review, as well as pros and cons of each and links to each. Hope this is helpful!
In general, cloth diapering has been easier than I expected. I do not actually separate mine for washing or use anything fancy. I wash the pee diapers with my regular laundry and detergent that is organic and whatever is on sale. This seems to be working just fine, and the clothes all come out smelling great. As for poopy diapers, I rinse them in the sink, give them a *quick* scrub, then soak them in PBW/powdered brewery wash (Amazon link below) for a few hours before throwing them in the wash with the rest of the laundry. This works amazingly, and I have yet to deal with stubborn stains (see photos). It might sound like a lot, but once the routine is established it's pretty simple.
Cloth diapers are definitely bulky (see photos). It took me a while to get used to, but now I love my little one's fluffy butt. I did have to size up his clothes, however.
The diapers do leak urine usually once a day or so (I think my son is a heavy wetter) but this is honestly no more frequent than with the disposables before we made the switch. I will say, however, that blowout poop happens way less with the cloth diapers, so I'll take that as a win.
I double stuff each diaper with a microfiber and bamboo insert. This seems to be the best combo I've found so far.
1) Wegreeco https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B075XKPPNC/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1547496771&sr=8-3&keywords=wegreeco+cloth+diapers:
Pros: easy to use, cute patterns, and I am confident these will take us all the way to potty training. Really affordable and come with bamboo instead of microfiber inserts.
Cons: these seem to be more of the culprit for urine leaks over the others, but just barely.
2) Alva baby: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C7JW3GQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1547498137&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=alvababy+cloth+diapers&psc=1:
Pros: affordable, fit well. These are probably my favorite because they seem to fit the best and are the most adjustable.
Cons: don't seem to come in as many cute patterns.
3) Anmababy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074FYV7KD/ref=mp_s_a_1_8_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1547498360&sr=8-8&keywords=anmababy+cloth+diapers&dpPl=1&dpID=510gs4Qd8XL&ref=plSrch
Pros: very similar to the Alva baby diapers but cuter patterns
Cons: only seem to come in 4 packs
Mama Koala: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LVWQY6K/ref=mp_s_a_1_7_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1547498360&sr=8-7&keywords=anmababy+cloth+diapers
Pros: cute patterns
Cons: these are sadly my least favorite, and also the most expensive. The waist tabs are not as long, so I don't see these fitting my son for very long. He's already almost on the largest waist setting and only 4 months old (and he's not a big baby; 25th percentile for weight, 50th for height). The pocket part is also looser than the other styles, so sometimes the inserts move around more.
Overall, I'm happy with our cloth diapers. If you're worried about it taking too much time, don't be. My husband and I both work full time and, although we sometimes have to stuff diapers as we need them, it all works out just fine.
Here's the link for the awesome PBW cleaner if anyone wants it. This stuff is a lifesaver for cloth diapers. https://www.amazon.com/Five-Star-PBW-4-lbs-x/dp/B001D6IVZG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1547499076&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=pbw+-+powdered+brewery+wash

Let me start off by saying I own 5 different brands of pockets (Bumgenius, Wegreeco, Alva, Anma, and Momma Koala). The Wegreeco are the first ones that both me and my husband reach for. We really like that you don’t need to fold over the insert, making it very bulky in the front (like BG and MK diapers). If you cloth diaper, you know mommas go CRAZY over the Alva diapers. Let me tell you something: this is the exact same diaper. Same size, same shape, same elastics, everything. But Wegreeco comes out on top. Why? Well, they are a little cheaper, but mostly: THE INSERT. Alva comes with 3-layer mf inserts while this brand comes with 5-layer bamboo inserts (mf inside). They have more layers, which is great, but what really sold me is that they are bamboo viscose outside. That means that the hubby, the sitter, or whoever, cant possibly go wrong by laying the insert on top rather than stuffing it. This is excellent for people who are unfamiliar with CD or for mommas in a rush for a clean nappy. The insert is no bulkier than the mf inserts either – I consider these to be pretty trim for a one-size. When/if I need to buy more diapers, I will be ordering more of this brand.
Now I do have one complaint – there is absolutely not enough print/color options!
*UPDATE*
I am docking one star due to the pilling on the inner lining. None of my other diapers do this. I added a picture of the inside of this vs the inside of a MK pocket.

Never thought I would like cloth diapers..
Reviewed in the United States on 26 February 2018Colour: Neutral Prints + 1 Wet BagVerified Purchase
So, I've only just started using these (I will change this review if things change), but these diapers are great; way better than I was hoping for. These are my first washable diapers, and I am only using them because my daughter is super sensitive and the only diapers she has been able to wear are not sold past size 5, so I had to switch to something. I swore I would NEVER use washable diapers, but here I am.
My friends are into the whole cloth diapers thing and told me all these things like, cloth diapers can't hold too much pee, so you might get leaks (my daughter is a HEAVY wetter), etc.
But actually, after only 1 wash, the first diaper I used held in a lot of pee, with no leaks. And an overmight diaper with two inserts, not only held in the pee, but the cloth that touches her skin didn't even feel that wet. And it was a HEAVY diaper.. she had peed alot. Even the disposable diapers always got damp on the outside because they couldn't hold in all the pee overnight, but with these.. no pee and so far no poop on any clothes. And my daughter has not had a red bottom at ALL! So, I am REALLY happy! And I never thought I'd say that about washable diapers!
Another note: I'm big on making sure that my daughter is comfortable.. basically I try to put myself in her place. Well I have seen a few different kinds of cloth diapers that my friends and family members have (much more expensive ones), and not only are they the ones that leak, but the elastic is big and bulky and not soft. Not something I would ever wear. But these.. The elastic is thin (but obviously still works really well because I'm not having leaks), and it is really soft, as are insides of the diapers themselves.
So, in my opinion; these are way better than the expensive ones, and they have made me happy with cloth diapers when I never thought I would be!

Wish I had bought these originally!
Reviewed in the United States on 23 November 2018Colour: Girl Prints + 1 Wet BagVerified Purchase
I WISH when I had started cloth diapering i had just bought 3 or 4 of these (and maybe a 12 pack of alva charcoal 5 layer liners as the bamboo ones that come with this actually do take a lot longer to line dry-which is a testament to their awesome absorbancy) and then bought nothing else.. I ended up buying kind of a random selection of cheapies and it's fine but these are definitely the best for the money in terms of the quality of the pocket diapers. These have great buttons, the fabric on the inside is a lot softer, and the outside material seems more resilliant than the other cheap ones I bought. Buying 3 or 4 of these would have ended up costing the same amount of $ I ended up spending on cheap diapers plus nice liners (since the cheap ones come with crap liners for the most part). 24 is a pretty optimum amount of cloth diapers if you are like us and going through 6 a day, with one disposable at night, that way you only really need to wash on day 3 or 4 depending on if your line drying. The bamboo liners make this a way better deal than the alva baby dipes. They are just great thick liners! I have also found since I started cloth diapering, for stains, a quick soak in a bucket of oxiclean with warm water is pretty much magic, just swish the diaper around i there for a second then rinse it off with warm water. Putting a rectangular fleece liner on the inside to catch solids has been useful too in keeping the diaper stain free. The fleece blankets they sell at walmart for $2 work great and cut up into quite a few liners.
