I am a new mum and my son is 7 months old so am very keen on recipes for hin. However, I wish there were more images of the food when made. Maybe it's me but I find a visual picture not only helpful but I enjoy seeing photos of the finished piece to see if mine looks the same. As shown in my picture there is half a page with nothing on it beneath a recipe. Why not include a picture? To me, the book looks half complete and a bit lazy in that aspect.

Lovely book and images, but its the same issue that a lot of cook books have. I brought this hoping that it would be a good, down to earth, for an average household but it requires sometimes nearly 12+ ingredients for one meal. You have to buy jars full for a pinch here, a drizzle there or a tea spoon added. Some i just wouldn't use for anything else, like groundnut oil. I know you can substitute these things but what's the point of the recipe then?

I had been waiting for this book since May and it does not disappoint. So pleased to see so many new recipes that aren’t on Rebecca’s Instagram. They all look so delicious and use things that i have in the fridge and store-cupboard. Already post-it noted the ones I’m going to try first.

I can’t tell you how delicious these cheesy sweetcorn polenta muffins smell 😍
