5.0 out of 5 starsA scary world
Reviewed in Australia on 19 October 2021
During lockdown I have read dozens of who dunnits. This was another one - although there was no butler and it was much more complex. As a result of reading it I have learned:
1. We live in a scary world where much is happening that we did not know about.
2. It is difficult to know who to trust. Scientists are shown to be self serving not scientific, journalists are taken in by lies, - where can we get information from.
3. America is a mess. Agencies meant to protect the world are controlled by people whose interest is in survival, not truth. Trade agreements are more important than truth. Hatred of Trump skews everything and Biden,s America is unravelling.
4. Scott Morrison and Australia come out looking better than most because they took a stand.
5. The idea that China is getting stronger and more powerful is frightening.
Thanks to Ms Markson for her hard work on this book. It was hard for a non scientist to read but she did a good job making complex material accessible to people like me.
It doesn’t take the hurt out of lockdown but at least I now know what caused it. And I am concerned about the safety of the world my grandchildren will inherit.

Meticulously researched, well set out and easy to read, this book is a page turner - quite a feat for a non-fiction work. I though I knew a lot about the pandemic but I didn't know enough! Everyone should read this and think about how we were so badly deceived.

A nicely written collection of data, much of it partially censored from mainstream media. It feels like a more comprehensive account of recent history that is easy to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Informative and scary stuff!

Well written book, laid out in chronological order. Easy to read and extremely informative, and I thought it tried to present an unbiased review of what happened. It would make an excellent movie. But anyone who reads this and is not scared of what big governments can do to hide facts and what the media can do to distort facts just did not read closely enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars A textbook of Covid

Simply, this is a textbook in novel form documenting all the incredible Covid Pandemic Wuhan lab relationships that mainstream media, newspapers, and most investigative reporters were too lazy to report. Medical scientists should be ashamed to deny the possible Lab Covid relationship and possible source of this infection. Easy to read, lots of information in each chapter. Short of finding Covid -19 on the Wuhan lab property, this book demolishes any doubt that Covid-19 is lab-made. One of the best pieces of investigative work I have ever read.

Sharri dug down deep into the recesses of the internet for sources, did impeccable research, and without catastrophizing lays out the facts for readers to draw their own conclusions.
