Okay, to start off, I was a little suspicious of all the 5 star reviews, but after using it, I can kind of see that it deserves it. This thing checks all the boxes.
1. It fits in my car's air vent, and I'm pretty sure it will fit on most people's air events. Don't even complain if it doesn't fit because you'll know if it won't. You'll probably have some super weird shape so don't expect it to fit 100% of every single air vent in all existence. This thing will absolutely fit on most air vents.
2. It holds on really well! So it has a little lever that you move in order for the clamp to tighten on the air vent. The lever has two settings, one for thick air vent slots, and one for thinner ones. This means that it should fit very tightly and should not let go. I live in Illinois and boy, I don't have to tell you about potholes here, and with all the vibrations of the car, it never once fell down or felt like it was going to fall.
3. The wireless charging works just as well as any other 15w charger. I use a wireless charger to charge my phone at night so I pretty much know how long it should take to charge my phone, and when it's on this thing, my phone tells me the estimated time when it will be done and i'm pretty sure its the exact same amount as if I was putting it on my 15w wireless charger. Now, yes, if you plug in the cord directly to charge your phone it will probably charge faster, but that depends on the phone, and it's not the fault of this product at all. I prefer not to use my port all the time because I don't want it to break and I go through cables all the time.
4. Price. This thing is an insane price for what you're getting. I've seen car mounts cost this exact amount and they don't even include wireless charging. That is an excellent feature to have. The build quality on this thing is good too. It has this little sensor that you touch so the arms open and when you place your phone on it, it automatically closes. You can also close the arms by pressing the little sensor underneath too. It's just a really cool device that you're getting, very high tech for a small price.
Because this thing performs exactly as advertised, I don't see why this would get any other rating unless you get a defective product. I think I've purchase from this company before and I've never had to contact them for any issues so I can't commentate on their customer service, but it's amazon so i'm sure it can't be bad. I will purchase more as gifts for friends and family. Again, for the price it can't be beat. Maybe you'll find faster charging ones out there, but they might not have the cool feature of automatically opening the arms to hold your phone, and they definitely won't be this price. I hope they make faster charging ones but honestly, 15w is good enough as faster charging will degrade you phone's battery life more quickly. That's why sony's new Xperia 1 II doesn't have 40w charging like some other phones, because they want the phone to last a longer time compared to others.

I am loving my wireless car charger! The charging isn't very fast but as far as I've experienced so far, it's able to keep up with the draw of running a maps program. I am not interested in clipping something like this into my air vent as I've had something similar break one of my vents before AND I like getting as much air flow as possible so I was able to find a mount to put it on my windshield and I love it! It's also pretty cool the way it automatically senses your phone and closes it in nice and secure. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend!

I live in Pennsylvania where our roads are beaten by the constant freeze/thaw cycle of winter (and not properly repaired), thus many many bumps. Phone disconnects from wireless charging on almost every bump, due in part to the motorized grip thinking I'm tapping it to release the phone. The motor in the grip mechanism failed after a couple weeks. I only gave the second star because the vent clip was removable so I could put it on my old wireless charger that the clip broke on.
