All in all, this is a really nice GPS so far. The price is really great given the rich feature set. It finds a GPS signal quickly and auto pauses and starts quickly. Screen is big enough and easy to read. The auto back light is also a nice feature.
And the XOSS down-loadable app? Sat next to my device for an hour attempting to Bluetooth connect without success. The app seems to be created for a XOSS Sprint - Not a G+ - but it's the app that downloads from the supplied QR code and it's the only XOSS app on Google's Play Store. So the computer as supplied delivered absolutely nothing. No speed, no time, no distance, no cadence, no HR, no nothing. And in case you don't study the offered product, it includes zero sensors. My unit came with and odd mount they call an "Out Front Mount," in addition to the standard handlebar mount. It features a mysterious, heavy, metal extension to an (apparent) steer post mount that makes zero sense to me. The package I choose (in error, because the offer was not that clear) came with a small, 600 lumen bike light that did not even feature a strobe mode, making it completely useless for daytime use. If the seller wished to bundle something useful, why not an ANT+ cadance or HR sensor? Why a useless light?
The instructions call for a press of the left button to "begin recording" a ride. Although the unit shows it was in record mode, neither the time, the distance, the altitude or any other metric appeared to move forward. In summary, for $64, I had a nice looking bike computer well-mounted on my handlebars that supplied absolutely NO data. A $14 Bell bike computer from Walmart would deliver more than that. And, it wasted several hours of my time attempting to motivate it to do so.
Sending it back today... If you buy one of these after reading this review, you will regret it. For the secondary bike I purchased this unit for, I'm going back to a Bryton Rider 530 - the best of dozens of bike computers I've owned and operated.
