These guards are easy to fit, provide great protection, and are easy to remove when the weather improves. Recommended.
In terms of effectiveness and longevity I can't comment as they are only just fitted and not experienced water and dirt yet.
The rear may be a bit short for total prevention of spray, however I think they fit the style of the bike nicely and don't look old fashioned.
The rear guard fits very easily to my cyclocross bike and stops nearly every speck of mud or grime coming onto me.
The front however, I could not fit as the bolt supplied is not long enough for my forks. In fact, when comparing to other bikes, the supplied bolt seems to only fit forks that are the skinny steel type. And on this note, I have yet to fit the front guard as it is not easy to find a bolt that will go right through my carbon forks.
Just a note to the supplier, could you please post out a longer bolt?
The flaps also lack adjustment, so the back tyre is very close to fouling the flap on the seat post end,and the front is the same at the leading edge. I have 700c x 35 tyres, bit after months of riding on potholed roads, they aren't totally concentric
