Dale Carnegie (1888-1955) described himself as a "simple country boy" from Missouri but was also a pioneer of the self-improvement genre. The reason I gave it a four star is because there are too many chapters, which made it hard for me to get the bigger picture. Maybe if they can group the chapters into parts, that will be a very complete and enjoyable book.
