Never, you can get one, but the Amazon prime app is region locked to not allow access from Australia, you'd have to side load

Yes firestick connects to the wifi as well. No need to worry about that.

If you want to watch any of the Amazon content such as Prime or Amazon Music, you can only use that as long as you continue to pay your subscription.
