The size is fine, keeps warm and is aesthetically satisfying, If I have to make a note, it was difficult to hook the inside on the collar, I would have preferred it to arrive already hooked (I mean the internal part that fastens with the hinges, it remains separate from the rest of the coat and can be fastened with buttons on the collar)

Colour is not as expected , I ordered grey but its bit dark. Also neck cover is not compartable.
Main reason for my rating, getting itchi whenever wearing, I never experienced this with woolen type of cloths.

Update: I got the new jacket in (just a few days later - great job!!!) and tried it on. It fits perfect. So if you are about my size then you know small will fit. The jacket looks awesome, it is definitely a quality product.
I put that this coat fits as expected because we ordered a sized medium and we received a sized large - so as expected the size coat we received was too big because the Chinese sent us the wrong size!
The coat arrived and the fabric was actually better than I had anticipated! The buttons themselves were actually attractive. These are the only positive attributes I can offer on this coat.
The flaws in design and build (and the likely reason why no US based catalog company would be interested in private labeling this coat):
#1: Without the internal collar "liner" installed, the zipper to close the coat doesn't really work as it is not installed in the correct location to provide for closing the coat and then buttoning the buttons. If one is to use the zipper (without the liner), then attempt to secure the buttons - running right down the center of the coat is a very funny looking extension of excess fabric - like a tube of material going down the center.
#2: When we tried to install the "zip in liner", we found that the zipper section on the liner versus the zipper section, do not have matching teeth - meaning that they could not be zipped together (at least without then immediately having the "teeth" separate). So now you have a zip-in liner with a faulty zipper system, but for the coat to close properly, you need to have the removable liner installed, but you can't install the liner, because it has a faulty zipper system!
#3: The coat zipper (excluding the faulty zipper on the zip-in insert), the actual coat zipper is about as cheap and Chinese as you can imagine! Of course it is not YKK (the most reliable zipper brand), but the zipper is a zipper that if seen on a pair of everyday pants would make one wonder if it is strong enough to actually last. This may be the most undersized, poorest quality zipper I have ever seen in a coat designed to be worn during the winter. It is undersized for a super-light wind breaker. I suspect the zipper on this coat will last a total of 10 wearings or less! From the first attempt to use it, it was difficult to use, did not zip up smoothly, and of course the design of the coat and the zipper is so poor that it apparent it is not properly designed.
#4: One could argue that the zipper on the coat is okay being of such a small and weak design, as it is intended to just hold the insert . . . BUT, the zippers on the insert are just as weak, cheap and Chinese on both sides of the insert (the side that zips to the coat and then the side that would zip together which upon zipping into the coat would then serve the function of zipping the coat closed).
In the end, this is a faulty product, with a faulty design, made to the lowest possible standards. This is being sold directly by a Chinese company and I suspect this is the case because upon making these coats, they found that no US based company would ever be willing to put their labels in the coats - think of brands like Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP, etc. . . often these companies just buy coats from Chinese companies and have their own labels sewn in them. This coat, even the cheapest and lowest quality labels in the USA would want their name inside this coat.
At the price it is selling for, it is way over priced. You are buying a faulty designed coat, with no real middle man (ie. Guess, Calvin Klein, etc. . . ) from some Chinese factory. The cost to make this coat in China is probably in the $9 to $12 range. At $36-$45 this would be a fair price for this defective products.
My recommendation is to avoid this coat at all costs! If you want to be Chinese made junk, at least buy something that has the US company brand label as at a minimum, there has been some level of design inspection for functionality and some quality control requirements involved. This direct from China coat obviously has not had any design inspection performed, no functionality testing, and there was/is zero level of quality control - as evident by mis-matched zippers for pieces that are supposed to zip together!
AVOID - DO NOT BUY!
Only thing we found weird was that there is a fake zipper beside the front left pocket. Not sure what the point of this was because it don't make sense aesthetically either. But other than that weird zipper it's a great jacket and the medium fit him perfectly =)
I have gotten many compliments on the coat.
would have liked the removable collar to come down further as it stopped just below my sternum and the zipper kept catching/hanging up. it wasn't a smooth zip.
