We bought a new 2020 rav4 and were planning to use our old cargo net from our forester to hold groceries in the back so they don't slide around. Well... there are no hooks to connect the cargo net.
After looking on amazon for a while I came across these hooks. They are easy to install and work as a great solution to hold our cargo net.
I removed the adhesive backing and used the metal clip to keep the plastic from stripping when screwing into the paneling. I was worried about putting holes in my new car. So I attached these underneath the panelling just incase they didn't work. That way the holes wouldn't be visable.
After two weeks these have worked perfectly. The cargo net stays in place and the hooks feel as secure as the day I installed them. They also look great. The hooks appear as if the were oem parts.
I highly recommend these for anyone who has a rav4 or any other vehicle that doesn't have hooks in the cargo area.

The tape doesn't stick well, but I didn't expect it to. But, the mounting hooks came with metal clips to put behind so the screw would bite into the clip and be clamped securely. This way, the screw is unlikely to strip the plastic that you are screwing into.
I left one star for adhesion, but with the clips you don't need to rely on the tape.
My mdx did not come with the cargo net option so I installed my old Honda Pilot cargo net and fits perfectly with the hooks screwed into the stock nut located behind the panelIng. I used a metric screw.

I purchased this to hold open my cargo net for our minivan. I got these because the listing stated you didn’t need to put holes in the vehicle, however I found that to be false. The adhesive couldn’t even hold our empty cargo net longer than a few seconds before popping off.
