If you like long, theoretical books then this is not the one. Thiel gives you a good but brief overview how to think about the future and technology. However, this is a book you need to work with and to think about the ideas that Thiel presents, rather than just 'consuming' it.

This book might be hyped and have a US-centred approach, but in my opinion it is definitely worth the read. I was undecided to rate it 4 or 5 stars, but decided for 4 stars due to it's rather high-level style of writing. Thiel leaves it up to the reader to figure out the details.
