The headphones are fine but the ear cushions are not. I use these headphones solely for the noise-cancelling feature which works very well. However, after using the headphones approximately 8 times, I noticed one of the ear cushions ruptured. I contacted Bose head office in Australia and the staff had me provide serial number, explanation on what happened, etc. And I was on the phone for over a half hour only to be told the cushions are not under warranty despite the headphones being purchased 7 month ago and obviously used only a handful of times. Why could they not have told me that at the outset?? alo, what kind of after sales service is that when the manufacturer does not cover an obvious defective part. I had been told in the Bose store which I visited that such a tear happens after continuous use for 2-3 years. As this was not the case for me, I expected a replacement of the ear cushion. I would never deal with Bose again. Certaibnly, they make a fine product but do not back up their sales with the expected service.
