After I got these they absolutely refused to join or connect to my Wireless Router. I tried many different suggestions as found on the internet such as changing my wireless settings, upgrading the firmware on the light, hard resetting the lights, trying different phones/tablets (iOS and Android) but they just would not connect to the wireless, kept saying "unexpected error occurred, try again". Despite all that, it shouldn't be that hard to install some smart lights to your network. It seemed that connection issues were a common occurance according to the reviews and complaints I saw online.

In the end after 2 days of trying, I gave up and returned them and bought some Philips Hue lights instead, yes I had to purchase the bridge as well but I had them all up and running within 15 minutes it was that simple. I might try LIFX again in the future but it was so much of a struggle to get them to work, I wouldn't recommend them.
