I did not like this movie at all because Star Wars has lost much of its magic. Firstly, the main protagonist, Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, can not even act properly: she often appears expressionless and therefore wooden in acting. This feminist approach in having the protagonist as a female, the rise of this New Skywalker is plainly ridiculous - it is to be trendy and a sign of times in having this female? Really? Many young men are simply put off which such blatant changes in the story. I will not be buying any of the last Star Wars DVD movies because they are all completely offensive to the tradition of Star Wars. Give the franchise back to George Lucas, he knows the Magic, not the new story writers. What is the purpose of the rise of Rey, the New Skywalker? Nothing! It is to be deliberately offensive to the men folk, and that is the whole purpose of the feminist approach. We live in the age of stupidity!
