I previously owned the TrueFree+ which were replaced by the Shuttle (a slightly different design which isn’t fully in-ear) which featured touch style buttons. I decided to purchase another pair of in-ear style to alternate the two while the other is charging but wanted the touch style buttons which are easier on the ears when trying to skip songs instead of having to press.
Like the TrueFree, the TrueDot is great value for the sound it produces and very stylish. I personally prefer the in-ear look. The silicone ear piece that came fitted on the earphone was perfect for me and created a seal which can block out enough external noise.
The mic for voice calls is good when you’re in a quiet place and sounds a little like you’re using the speaker phone on your mobile. However I didn’t buy these to take phone calls so not a huge issue for me (I prefer to use the Shuttle ones for that).
I get about 4-5 hours usage before having to charge them in the charging case which is a nice portable size.
