The wax pot doesn’t heat up the wax enough to effectively be able to apply it to your skin and pull it off. Even at max temperature the wax comes out mildly warm
EDIT: on subsequent uses the wax melted to the correct temperature to be usable. I think you need to melt it a few times (not juts leave it on once) for it to work :) I therefore would recommend
