About the Buyer-Seller Messaging Service

The Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging Service makes communicating with third-party sellers easy and secure.

To access the Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging Service, go to Buyer-Seller Messages in the Message Centre. You can opt out of unsolicited messages from third-party sellers by updating your Promotional E-mail settings in the Communications Preferences Centre.

Using the Buyer-Seller Messaging Service, you can:

• Respond to third-party sellers quickly and easily using the Reply option.
• View past communication with third-party sellers on Amazon.com.au.

Send files to third-party sellers. File types supported are plain text (.txt), PDF, images (.jpg, .gif and .png), and Word documents in .doc and .docx format. The entire message should not exceed 10 MB (including attachments).

Note:

• Amazon AU reserves the right to delete or remove any e-mail addresses or links to untrusted websites from the message. Amazon AU reserves the right to determine which websites it considers untrusted.
• Amazon AU reserves the right to delete or remove any attachment containing inappropriate content. Amazon AU reserves the right to decide what it considers inappropriate content.
• You can use any information the third-party seller provides to contact them, but we strongly recommend that you use the Buyer-Seller Messaging Service. This service ensures mail is filtered for spam and possible phishing attempts, and we will maintain a copy of all correspondence which can be used to support any A-to-z Guarantee Claims submitted by you.
