Return a Package at a ParcelPoint Drop Off Location

If the item you're returning is eligible and there's a ParcelPoint near you, you'll see the option to return your item using a prepaid ParcelPoint label. An option to return your item without printing a label will also be displayed. Upon selecting this option, a prepaid ParcelPoint return code will be generated for your return

When these options are displayed during the returns process, below it you will see a link to a ParcelPoint Drop Off Locator. Click the link and identify a ParcelPoint in your area for you to drop off your return.

To return an item using a ParcelPoint Drop Off location:

  1. Generate your ParcelPoint Drop Off return label or code from the Returns Support Centre (see Return Items You Ordered). During the returns process, you'll see a link to the ParcelPoint Drop Off Locator where you can enter your postcode to view the eligible ParcelPoint Drop Off locations in that area.
  2. Package your return, making sure the package does not exceed the maximum weight of 10 kilograms and maximum linear dimensions (length + width + height) of 120 centimetres.
  3. Perform one of the following actions:
    • If you've received a ParcelPoint return label, print the return label, fix it to the outside of the package, and drop the package off at an eligible ParcelPoint location of your choice.
    • If you've received a ParcelPoint return code, the code will be activated for use and can be scanned at a ParcelPoint location only 30 minutes after it has been generated. Display the code on your smartphone and have it scanned at the ParcelPoint Drop Off location when you're dropping off your package.

      Note: If you arrive at the ParcelPoint store within 30 minutes from the time the return code has been generated, the code may not be ready for scan and you will need to return to the store after 30 minutes.

Note:

  • You can drop off your return package at an eligible ParcelPoint Drop Off location. Please check the ParcelPoint website to determine the accurate opening and closing hours for the drop-off location you have selected to ensure you can return your package when you need to.
  • For return packages dropped off at eligible ParcelPoint locations, you will receive a drop-off confirmation email once the package is processed.
  • If you drop off your package at a ParcelPoint, you will additionally receive a receipt as proof of return. You can use this as a reference in case.
  • If the ParcelPoint Drop Off location can't scan the return code or the barcode on the return label, they have the option to manually enter the tracking ID displayed on the return label into their system. In case of a return label, if the tracking ID on the return label is also not readable, you may be asked to reprint your return label and attach it to the package to complete your return.
  • Amazon.com.au isn't responsible for any personal items or items not related to the return left at the ParcelPoint Drop Off location.
  • You can choose to return an item to a ParcelPoint Drop Off location only if the Returns Support Centre displays the option and generates a ParcelPoint Drop Off return label or code for you. If the Returns Support Centre does not display the option for you to return your item via a ParcelPoint Drop Off location, please select an alternative return method from the options displayed.
