5.0 out of 5 stars Great motors, fantastic value, great throttle resolution, good power!
Reviewed in the United States on 19 January 2020
I originally bought mr Steele 1750kv v3 motors “top of the line” I found them to be underpowered and they were very fragile. I bent two bells on a “run of the mill” crash in grass. I bought these to build a cheaper quad I could fly a bit harder to get better at racing and freestyle. I swapped my mr Steele for these until my bells came for my motors with the bent bells. I never went back! Great power, good throttle resolution, responsive and they have taken a beating and just keep on going! No bent bells, they take any 5 inch prop. I now have 2 sets on 2 different quads, they are great little motors. Just buy a set already you won’t regret it. Also they are pretty quiet on BF with Rpm filtering. Also I get 4-7 min Flights with 5045 cyclone props, 6s 1300mah battery. I fly at 30-40% throttle and punch out quite a bit. Great motors I’m ordering another set for my TBS source one V3 build.

I have a couple flights on these motors and so far I am pleased. Very smooth and powerful. Build quality is great. Bearings and magnet strength feel consistent. Mated with the iFlight 4in1 50a ESC I get no video noise.

I would certainly buy Xing-E motors again.

Edit 5/26/20 - In fact I have purchased another set. Still love them. I bought more because I send my quad into the ground like a lawn dart doing an inverted yaw spin that I didn't pull out of in time. Bent a shaft. Great motors.

The iflight xing-e 2207 2750kv motors are extremely powerful. A stator height of 7mm is pretty extreme, and the rpm/volt is very high for a motor that can push the propellers on the spec sheet. I'm using a 4S 1500mah 100C lipo battery (just switched to a 4S 1600mah 120C lipo) with 5045 tri-blade props, and nidici 30 amp dshot 1200 speed controllers. The motors aren't even warm after a full flight. All 4 motor shafts are threaded clockwise, which a lot of the high end racing motor manufacturers have started doing now. I have a set of the new emax 2205's S-version and they're set up the same way threaded all clockwise with locking nuts. The iflight nuts are also nylock and tighten down pretty hard, so the props stay on no problem. These motors are worth the money if you want extreme power, just give them batteries and props they can perform with, because this is definitely my most ridiculous 5" quad now. Don't let the pink props fool you, for a 220 on 4S this thing is terrifyingly fast. It needs a lot of room to perform. Excellent motors, I'm very pleased with the outcome.

I own around eight of these motors now because they are easily damaged. When I failsafed and dropped into cement, I expected there was going to be a couple of motors I needed to replace. But I find that the bell tends to go off-center on the lightest of crashes. You get what you pay for, I know. For the price I guess they are good, but hopefully you're an excellent pilot who never overshoots a flip or God forbid failsafes, because there's a good chance at least one of your motors will need to be serviced or replaced.
I do like iFlight motors, so my next setup I will pay the extra money and get their XING series of motors. Or there are a few others I may try as well. Just want the best bang for my buck.
