Not a bad book but it was lacking for my liking. I read it to my kids once and that was it. It has never been picked up by my kids again. They always will choose other books over this one. Expensive buy for a one time read - -$16!!!
I guess I expected more. I wanted the book to focus on the situation at school and what to do or not to do to be kind to others. I did not expect it to go like global and then come all the way back to school and then not really address the school issue well. Plus, I found it odd that a little girl was at the park by herself and saying hi to grown men. Seriously who is monitoring this child? My kids don't go walking through the park with strangers all alone... its just not safe around here.
I got this for my 3 year old granddaughter, thinking this was a book about being kind. Not quite what I was hoping for. Although the animation or illustrations were good, the story lacked being kind to.... Animals, sisters and brothers, next door neighbors, the mail person, holding the door open for others... etc... That's what I was hoping for.
This is a really cute book your children like to remove a look at the truth my granddaughter loves it. I am a big believer on children reading as much as they can. Teaches children how much things are important in life if you know how to read.
