This is a brilliant book that my 3 year old loves .. she makes me read it to her every night .. it addresses all the issues and questions young minds have today and also touches upon how to stand up against a bully being kind and sensitive is what makes us a good human and is the need of the hour
My toddlers loves the topic on kindness and has started asking me about other peoples feelings and ways of helping. This book is a favourite of theirs. Its calming and easy to read. The illustrations are therapeutic and captures a lot of emotions and communications even when there are little words so my children are able to discuss what is happening from the pictures. It doesn't tell children what kindness is but instead what It can look like and how you can't fix everything yet you can help the healing process. Would really recommend this book.
We love this book. It inspires really great discussions with my 4.5 yr old and really gets him thinking. I pull it out every once in a while when I feel as though he needs a good reminder about what KINDNESS truly is and looks like. He always seems moved by the end of the story and I usually get a good hug from him. I love that it has such an effect on him!
Great book! We originally borrowed this book from the library but I loved it so much I decided to buy it. Allows for conversations about ways to be kind (and also things that are unkind, even when not necessarily “mean”) with my 4 year old. He also will not outgrow this book any time soon, our conversations about kindness will just get better as he gets older!
