I ordered this off Amazon as the delivery is SO fast & efficient plus I was after a bigger size. I have used this product before but in a smaller size so very happy that I could order from Amazon. Seachem is a great brand & does exactly as it says :)
I already had an aquarium of tropical fish, when I upgraded and needed the cycle kickstarted so I didn’t have to keep the old tank up and running for as long because I don’t have the space. It certainly helped keep the tank stable and healthy and when ammonia rose or nitrites then it was great at keeping them at a stable level as to not cause any harm. I could. Move my fish in earlier and my tanks doing better than ever. Also am amazing water conditioner as well. You know if you have any nasties it will keep them non toxic while you have the chance to rectify the issue.
I cycled my 5 gallon with a betta and couple little plants with this. It cycled in just over a week which is amazing. Without it youd expect it to last anywhere up to a month or more. Do be aware you need seachem prime too though because there is still an ammonia and nitrite spike, stability just makes it quicker it doesnt get rid of it. Prime will detoxify the harmful spikes and your fish will make it through no problem. definitely will buy from seachem again thank you
My tap water has a very low KH (1d) and a reasonably high pH (7.5). Because of this the pH can be unstable in my 125 litre community tank. I use the Alkaline Buffer along with the Acid Buffer to raise my KH by 2 or 3 degrees without affecting my pH. The Buffers are easy to use and last for quite a while, depending on what tub size you go for. All of my fish, including the sensitive German Blue Rams, are happy and healthy.
