To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The toys were as expected and arrived within the promised time frame. Our ferret loves these and gives her hours of playtime. Considering how rough she plays with them, they do last quite a long time. Only gave this a 4 star vs 5 because they advertised "assorted colors" yet offer only one- pink and yellow as shown.
My little guy doesn't seem very interested in this toy. He is a waardi and is a bit "special", so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.. lol. But I have never seen him mess with it. I even tried moving it around his cage in different areas just to be sure. It is cute though, and I like that it's adjustable so you can hang it from different heights with ease.. but the most action this toy has gotten is whenever the cats reach in and try to steal it out of my ferret's cage, lol. If you have a more playful ferret who would enjoy this toy, then I say go for it! No other complaints besides the fact that my guy doesn't care for it.
I was happy that I got what was pictured. I'd read some reviews where some people got a different toy so I was a little concerned. Super cute duck thing and I was excited to see what my ferrets thought. It's been in the cage for a little under two weeks and there's stuffing hanging out. With ferrets the only products that I've found to be durable with them is Kong toys but this is holding up well enough. Bought it for $3.99 & would've liked to buy more but at $9 no way. Not worth it considering I'd be surprised if this lasts 3 months but then again I have 3 ferrets.
My boy loved it when I first put it in the cage. Ever see those videos of crocodiles propelling themselves out of the water to snag snacks from tourist boats? That's basically how he plays with it. However, since the newness has worn off (it's been a week and a half), he hardly plays with it. But at least it's in there for when he gets "ultra bored" :)
Bought this because the previous reviewers said their ferrets love it. Ours played with it a couple of times but when they found out they could not take it to their hidey hole, they ignored it. I have even moved it to different places. The clasp does not close tightly by itself but the toy seems like it would stand up to some playtime.
