The handles are gruesome and the stripping gauges are below the joint, the crimp is above and it is used less often. They are oversized for what they can do, they aren't even designed to fit in a hand properly to begin with. The company cheaps out on metals and makes flat tools. The price is more than the pairs I use for power lineman work. 30$ and no spring? You have to be kidding me.
These were thrown into my bucket of extra tools that I'm willing to lend to guys on field.
The whole design is useless, if you are buying for a professional reason, do yourself a favor and buy Klein strippers.
They will fit better in your belt and last longer. The handles are proper too, made for hands. Plus they are spring loaded with a thumb lock.
These are the best strippers I've owned. They're really nothing too crazy. Just seem to work flawlessly. Going on four years and only minimal damage to the cutter area. (I only cut copper and other clad, tinned, etc, wires with them)
