To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
In short, great board game! My daughter loves it. It teaches children multiple behavioral skills such as waiting your turn, being patient, learning how to behave in a store, what to do, what to say, how to say it; observation skills such as looking for missing items, recognizing same; developing language skills, anticipation, excitement, having fun with friends and family while at the same time developing multiple necessary social skills....etc. What I also love about it is that it's very compact so it's easy to carry around, very sturdy and overall great quality. It's a shame it doesn't have more booster packs aside from clothes and fruit and vegetables. Overall, highly recommend!!!
Based on the reviews I knew this was a must have. Purchased this while Amazon had a sale and it has instantly been a hit for my 25 month old. She is loving adding all the items on the list in her trolley and although we aren't following the rules of the game yet, it definitely keeps her quiet for a few minutes a day. She has been asking to play everyday since I have received this a week ago. Based on other reviews I really hope she will continue growing with this game. Would definitely repurchase as a gift for other kids 2+
Fantastic game for a 4 year old. I tried other games I considered basic like snakes and ladders, but she quickly loses interest. This game captured the attention of my daughter. She recognises the concept of shopping, and all the items as we have them in real life, and the rules are very simple. A perfect introduction to board games for a young child.
Fantastic family game! It was a great introduction to taking turns, memory game and early reading with images. Versatile and simple. Children can relate to this shopping game to saving money/ their real life through family interaction and enjoy discussing family food habits/ necessities. Grouping items into everyday and not so everyday foods. Endless fun really. Thank you!
Great game for a 4 year old. My daughter loves this game and it’s a game where everyone has a chance to win as it’s based on memory so also good for preschool learning. We now want to buy the extension packs!
