To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Just got these thank god. No more yellow and orange and multi coloured ones for me that get 4.5 star reviews. Or the ones that crimp / pinch your fingers by mistake because the crimper is between the handles. You know what I mean. These work every time with a super clean cut. If you like the “is it stripped let’s do it 3 times Christmas tree look “ then buy something else.
Only had them for a couple of month and not actually had much use, but when i do use them its an absolute pleasure. It's the most i've spent on a pair of these, usually it's cheap ones at a tenner tops but glad i pushed the boat out :P
If you're sitting on the fence deciding to buy or not i'd say just click the button and go for it. They're worth the money and it's not one of those purchases that will leave you feeling disappointed after it comes... That's what she said, no?
I'm not a skilled electronics hobbiest, and so I struggle to strip wires without cutting or damaging the conductor. But this tool is verging on miraculous. It somehow grabs and strips really thin wires with no damage to the conductor at all.
As a control panel builder I use these strippers daily, they work well most of the time but sometimes an insulation stripping gets stuck in the jaws but generally, they work ok. Not sure they will last a long as my old 20-year-old Marvel brand strippers as they are almost completely made of plastic. Time will tell
