It’s hard to fill the perfect amount Loose tea leafs get stuck in the slit when filling And leafs fall out of the slit into the cup when brewing even if you make sure that there’s nothing in the slit But if you dont care about these things it works perfectly
I ordered this Snap Mesh Tea Ball Infuser by HIC to start my new habit - Drinking Hot Tea. I have been a coffee drinker my whole life and am moving in a new direction to stain my teeth even more. This Snap Inffuser allows the user to empty the ball easily and rinse it over the garbage disposal. The Stainless Steel is nice. Oh! HIC stands for Harold Import Company, Inc. which is a famous importing company specializing in Tea and Infusers.
I purchased this to use with a bag of loose leaf tea that I purchased. It is a little flims-ily made, but if you are careful with it, you should at least be able to get your money's worth use out of it. Like I said, it isn't the most SOLID of tea infusers, but at three bucks, you do get what you pay for. I've had mine for about a month with no problems, but I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks soon. If you want something that is going to last much longer, spend the extra money for a higher quality similar product, but if you want something cheap and you don't drink loose leaf tea so frequently that you just absolutely HAVE to have an infuser, I say go ahead and purchase this.
I liked the spring action when opening the strainer. It was sturdy. I wish it were able to remain open to add the tea then close. It doesn't seal to hold in tea!! I have teaflakes in my cup with every use........Not good. I'm back to using my coffee maker😞😞😞
Great idea but not so great production...or maybe it could be that the tea ball ( which is wire mesh) was mailed in a padded envelope that was so " squished" I had to try to bend it back into shape and it is so "out of round" tea leaves leak out...oh, well, you get what quality you pay for, obviously.
