To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Did a good job once up, but they need to be replaced annually. I tried leaving them up and the eye would crack when I tried reinserting the cable. I tried taking them off the gutter and they'd crack. Either way, I'm replacing them annually. At 5¢ per, I'm ok with it as long as I have them on hand.
Not way easy as these will work on a thin aluminum's edge or vinyl but usually had to find the right space and it lifts the edge away from a good seal on the siding. There has to be a better product out there somewhere.
I bought these clips to attach strings of Christmas mini-lights to my gutters and roof. The clips would be better if they didn't have such big gaps in the openings. It was spaced out well enough to clip onto the gutter, but the lights kept sliding out and falling because the opening is too big. The round part would be better if both ends came together and there was more tension to keep the lights in place. If you keep the round part facing up, the lights will be fine... but if you have a setup where that's not possible, the lights will fall right out.
If it lasted more than 1 season, it would've suited our needs perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't withstand the weather for more than 1 season. Not sure what caused it, but as soon as we tried to use them in season 2, they just broke off like twigs.
