To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have bought this for the 3rd time from this wonderful seller. The heat and bond is easy to use just be careful to use a cloth over your fabric so that if there is any overlay it doesn't stick to your iron like I stupidly did the first time I used it. It was easy enough to clean. Simple to use, gives projects a lift inside and is less messy than sheets of wadding. I use it for the inside of fabric baskets and buckets, its perfect for kindle/ipad covers too. Can't recommend it enough!
Very lightweight compared to some I have used which is a good thing. I have used this when making cosmetic bags and it gives them that bit of body without feeling too heavy. I will be using this every time the need arises. Irons on very easily, fuses well and feels good to the touch.
I am an experienced sewer, and used to pressing items, but I found it extremely difficult to avoid getting puckers and folds in the fabric when following the manufacturer's instructions. Maybe the machine produced more steam than was actually needed. Eventually, after two or three attempts, by pressing on the right side of the fabric, and stretching it as I moved the iron, I obtained a result which I considered good enough to use. This low rating was given in terms of my experience - it may work perfectly well with an ordinary steam iron
