These are fun rain boots and they keep out the water (so far and I live in a very rainy city) but they aren’t very sturdy or stiff if that makes sense. They bend and move easily compared to my old rainboots as they have lots of space around the ankles. . Also they fit big. I’m a size 7 and ordered 7 but needed to put insoles in. They seem like more of a garden boot to me. But if you don’t use them much I’m sure they are fine. Just not the best support. But they are very cute.
Poor fit....bought same boot, same size a few years ago and had been very pleased...not so much now. I have only had these boots for a few months and now fined that they have separated between the heal and up the back of the right boot.....very poor quality and unable to find a way to contact the supplier.
Firstly let me tell you the Pros: these boots are comfortable and very cute, I got compliments every single time I wore them into work or a store. Even having a patient tell me, "my boots were like wearing artwork on my feet!" Unfortunately the Cons: You cannot submerge them in water even if it's brief. I bought my pair in 2018, wearing them an average amount of times, being in N. Texas we don't get a lot of rain, but their were several times I would need to step through water in order to get to the sidewalk, which as a result my lovely boots did start to come apart around the seams of the heal, and the rubber on the top foot area also split open. If you aren't going to walk through any rain puddles and wear them only in the rain, then I'd say they are worth it because the thing is they are rain resistant and not waterproof. Also, they do run about a half-size too big; if you wear a 7 1/2 shoe, then get the size 7, but if you wear a size 8 shoe then stick with the size 8.
Followed advice of other reviewers who said it runs big. So as a half size, I ordered down and then had to return the pair and reorder. The new size fits good. It is a bit wide in the ankle but I also have narrow feet and thin ankles and calves, so I am sure others will find the fit nice. I can comfortably wear thick socks in them and they are beautiful.
These were really nice but I can't wear them. I wear a size 6.5 regular shoe. I ordered a 7 because there were no half sizes. My friend who wears a solid size 8 can fit these boots with room to spare. I just gave them to her. And I am still looking for a good pair of rain boots as I work with disabled people in public transportation. I am constantly getting out in the rain and mud to get wheelchairs on my bus. And we only just had our flooding go down where I live. Flood waters are expected to come back up before the week is over and I still haven't found a pair of boots that fit. I'm very sad.
At first I thought these boots were great- reasonable price, comfortable enough, and kept my feet nice and dry whenever it rained and we experienced flash floods almost weekly for a month. Less than a year after purchasing, the back seem of the right heel split. Additionally, the insert (sole) slides around when I walk and can be uncomfortable. Three stars only because they worked really well for the first three months or so, and for the price I suppose that may be normal.
I wear 7.5. Since these boots dont come in half sizes I ordered an 8. The 8 was way too big so I exchaned for a 7. Unfortunately, the 7 was too small. If you wear a half size, these boots probably will not work for you.
I bought these boots last June (it's May now) and one of them already has a hole in the side. The boots are super comfortable, and I get compliments on them all the time. But I expected them to last more than a year especially since I don't wear them all that often. The hole formed on the side of my right shoe where the boot sort of creases when I walk. I'll buy a boot made of thicker material next time.
I loved these boats from the moment I saw them. They do run a little big but I wear fuzzy socks in mine and that way they fit perfectly. I just got the size 8 because I am typically in a size 8. I get a ton of compliments about how pretty they are and they fit my pants and everything. Today though, I noticed a crack in the rubber. I am a student and wear my boots rain or shine to walk around campus daily. I am a little disappointed that they aren't holding up as much as I thought they would. I will wear them until they completely desinigrate, but beware that if you plan on wearing these boats for a long time, mine are starting to wear out only after a month. They only damage I have seen is that there is a crack in the rubber near the toe. The soles are wearing up just fine.
