Please mark this as helpful, especially for Vizio people, people complained about the wire pressing against the metal rod(stand), and they are correct, and here's a solution: As my photos show, by rotating the bracket and not installing it as instructed, you can create plenty of room for the wire, and it seems to still be very well balanced. First assemble the rods attached to the base correctly as instructed, then screw the speaker to the bracket like in my photo instead of screwing the bracket to the stand, then the last thing is to attached the bracket to the vertical stand. Screwing the speaker to the bracket first will allow you to use a screwdriver and make it tight, before attaching the bracket to the stand, because the stand blocks access to tighten the speakers screw.... So screw bracket to speaker securely.
These did the job for a pair of Sony ZR-5 Wireless Bluetooth Speakers (that I have paired with a Sony HT-NT5 soundbar for the wireless surround sound option), the construction was mostly solid and easy to put together, but one of the bases of the stand had the wrong sized threading for the provided poles - I solved this pretty easily by finding a nut of the same width and threading it on from the bottom from my own collection of tools, but had I not had one handy, I'd have been left with no real option besides leaving the pole loose and wobbly.
Product itself is totally fine when everything is up to standard (although a bit shorter than I'd like, I prefer the speakers just above ear height, and these max out more or less ear height for a seated person of average height) and would be a solid 4 stars if not for the QA issue. Would recommend these as for the price, even with the minor hassle they are excellent quality and very solid, with brackets and stands that cover almost every speaker mount you'd need for smaller satellites. Would not want to try it with anything heavier than the recommended 3.5kgs however.
First of the bat, these are great cost effective speaker stands that are straightforward and no nonsense.
I ordered a set so just 2 speaker stands for my Logitech Z906 speakers and specifically for the rear pair. The good news was that they fit without needing anything additional as the bolt was provided by the Sanus Speaker Stand. Putting this together just took minutes and with the height adjustability, getting the speaker at the right height was easy. The stands are made form metal throughout with a very weighty base and look the part, especially at the price.
Not much more to say other than very well made and they just do the job they were intended for....Excellent speaker stands for the money!
Bought to mount a set of Sony SA-Z9R surround speakers. Packaging was sturdy, poles, base and bolts etc were all well protected. Assembly was a doddle, only a Philips screwdriver required. Very sturdy stands that are well made. Good selection of mounting brackets and options included. There is the option of being able to feed cables through poles in to the bases to hide them but I could not use that option as my speakers are new and come complete with a moulded plug attached which I didn't want to cut off. Not a problem though as there are quite a few Velcro strips included to strap cables to the stands. All in all, very impressed and happy with the stands.
These speaker stands look great and do the job perfectly.
What I am NOT so happy with, though, is the Amazon delivery service. I deliberately chose the “no rush” option, because we were going away for the weekend, and I wanted delivery on the Monday or Tuesday after the weekend, as quoted during the ordering process. However, Amazon delivered on the Saturday, and left the parcel outside the front door, despite me not having stated that as an option. Fortunately nobody stole it while we were away, so we got away with it, but it was more by luck than anything else.
Excellant set of speakers stands , well constructed and solid. My only gripe would be the fiddly felt pads to stick on the base, other than those , very easy to assemble. Comes with a multitude of screws and brackets to fit various types of speaker fittings. Highly recommended
Bought these for my pioneer front speakers, they just didn't balance properly, the stand didn't feel safe, it constantly felt like they would tip over. These speakers were quite small as well. Ended up using the stands for the rear speakers and they work flawlessly so my advice is check if these things are sturdy enough to take your speakers. Also, the adhesive pads were useless and came off after less than an hour. Build quality is good and assembly is easy.
