While these suitcases are of good quality, I thought they were the larger cases. The so called carry-on is more like a cosmetic bag. Make sure you get measurements when or if you purchase this set. The larger case of the 2 is a small suitcase. I ended up still purchasing a large suitcase because these were way too small. They are durable though.
I love the green colour, just what I wanted. They are also the perfect carry on luggage as long as you follow the rules. Do not over stuff them! I packed the perfect amount of clothes for 3 days and have used them 3 times since I ordered them. The pulling handle can be easily pushed down without the button and the handle does jiggle a lot. However this can be fixed using a screwdriver.
It's a good suitcase. Size is fine for a for 5 day trip. Outside pockets are adequate. Larger pocket could be slightly bigger. Fabric is adequate not super strong but it'll be fine. This is not a spinner bag it has the roller blade type Wheels. These type of wheels are more recessed they don't stick out and get caught on things.
But no stiffeners in the body at all so it's just the fabric between handle stowage and the baggage handlers. So I unzipped the interior cover and put a 19x12 1" thick piece of foam core board gator Board under the handle stowage and now that protects the handle stowage and adds some stiffness strength to the frame.
The shoulder bag is pretty roomy you can fit a lot in there. Nothing fancy but it's adequate.
Great bag. Fit A LOT more than i expected. I traveled To Michigan during fall time (cold weather brrrr) si thicker clothes.. i went For 4 nights and 5 days. I packed About 3 jeans, 4 sweaters, pullover Sherpa, 5 pair thick socks, 2 boots (Wore slip off shoes through tsa) and 3 pairs of thick pajamas (top and bottom) yep it all fit. Rolling method.. only thing i wish This has was one more zipper inside to cover the clothes then zip up. I disliked That part about the bag and also being able to feel the bars through the cloth made a bit damage get done in the front when I went on the plane.. but had insurance for that, also best carry on EVER!!! Ladies don’t go nuts!!! This little bag fit my other little tsa quart sized bags inside them and my flat iron with blow dryer, and my crossbody !!! Yep. Loved this! Would purchase again and would recommend to a friend. It’s been through 2 airports and beat up a bit and only one mark on the corner.. not bad for the price and the room u get !!! Hope it helps someone!!
My sister and I ordered these, one in green and one in purple in the carry on size. The size is good for traveling. The wheels roll on hers rolled really well but my purple one only wheeled around sometimes. I think that had to do with the dent mine showed up with. I just pushed the dent out and it looked fine. My sisters green one had a rip in the stitching when we got it and it split a little more over our trip but we can fix that pretty easily. Over all, we paid like $30 each for these, they held all of out stuff and we can use them again. I'd recommend them for anyone not wanting to spend much money on carry on luggage but if you're a frequent traveler and don't want to replace your luggage often, you might want to buy something else.
When I fly I never check a bag. I cram everything I need for a week in my carry-on and my "personal item" which in this case is the accompanying bag. This bag is very lightweight which makes it easy to fill it to the max and not have the bag itself weight as much as my clothes and toiletries. It is slightly smaller than the max size for a carry-on which was a little frustrating. It says this is the best size for weekend use but I put all my stuff for a week in California in it and with some careful packing it did just fine. I wish this had the optional expander zipper. The lack of the zipper and the smaller than max carry-on size is the reason for 4 stars. I have another carry-on size suitcase for my wife and hers is about 3 inches bigger on the sides which is the size I thought I was getting with this. The color is beautiful and so far after several trips it has held up well for over a year.
I saw some negative reviews about this suitcase. I bought it for a trip home and it worked wonderfully. purchased the "one size" size and recieved both bags. Unsure what the other size means or why it's so much more expensive. That's why I give it 4 stars, totally unclear what that means. I took a risk and got it, and totally worth the money. I fit easily 5 days worth of clothes a pair of tennis shoes, toiletries, and books in it without issue. Also comes with a cheapo travel lock. Main pocket has interlocking zippers which is great.
Ordered for my 12 yo son for a 3 day class trip. He wanted a green suitcase so he was happy. It feels like a $35 suitcase so I’m not sure how long it will last but served our needs well for the time being. Easily fit all his clothes and toiletries for 3 days with room to spare for his pillow! It was Carried in the plane and also checked and looks good as new. Good buy for $35.
I needed a new carry on for a trip I was taking in 3 days so it was down to Prime shipping options. The set held up well for this trip, I was nervous as I was rolling over blocks of city streets including uneven pavement and cobblestone but there were no problems. I really liked the small matching bag as it fit my purse, makeup bag, hairdryer, flat iron, 333 bag as well as some other small items. The rolling upright was acceptable for carry on standards although I gate checked on all flights voluntarily. The size was as expected, enough for a few days clothes and an extra pair of boots, though I did have to squeeze it in (did not have to expand, but there is not a lot of extra room added with the expansion option, anyway).
I liked the color originally as it seemed to be a medium to bright green, but when I got it out into the sunlight it just looked like an odd pea soup kind of color, almost what I'd characterize as sickly, and I think the color made the bags look cheap. Would not recommend the green. But other than that, this is exactly what I needed and exceeded my expectations for the price.
Someone else mentioned that it is just an empty container with nothing to hold anything down, but mine did have straps inside as well as a mesh zip pocket. I don't know how well it will do long term, but for $35 - it was worth it for a single trip as I would have otherwise checked for $50 round trip, so any more use will be a bonus.
