To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Originally I said this was "Well made. No kinks, good weight, doesn't tangle easily. Tightly coiled. Just a really good coil cord."
That's what I thought at first. Due to poor modular connection, it keeps making static when the cord moves even slightly in the handset end , and the short straight ends make it hard to keep the desk set from sitting on the cord at the other end.
This is my second addition to my negative comments: The coil itself stretched out as is an elephant hand been hanging from it, and I never used the handset far enough from the base unit to stretch it.
I bought a different brand at the local home improvement store and it was twice as robust and thick, and the modular end fit securely in the socket.
Waste of money. Worth every penny of the $3.00. Splurge and get the 'Cisco Handset Gray Curly Cord 25 Ft Uncoiled / 4 ft Coiled'. You will be happy you spent the extra $2.25. Completely different quality level!
Total Waste! Bought this to replace a different one and although blister packed by GE supposedly, the first use it was stretched out and all knotted up! Bought the other one from Amazon instead, GE TL26139 25' Coil Phone Cord (Black) and it is 1000% better! Sent this one back for credit, thank you Amazon.
Don't bother buying this GE 76139 Coil Cord. It's cheaply made with a thin coil that stays stretched out, hangs down to the floor, and twists into a mess. Find a better product that acts like a good coil cord should. You'd get better service from a 25' straight cord!
The product received was not the one labeled. As stated in other reviews I received a Power Gear Product NOT a GE one. Unfortunately all the reviews preceding this one referred to the product as GE. I have not test the product but if it surpasses my expectations of poorly made phone cord I may raise the review. But I am sure this will be as substandard as the last 3 no name poorly made phone cords I purchased from amazon. That is the whole reason why a GE manufactured cord swayed my purchase to this product.
This is a very cheaply made cord but I guess you get what you pay for. Within a week it had already stretched out and now there’s a lot of static on the line going to have to go down and replace it. My advice look for something else but don’t buy this.
