Lovely game based on the three little pigs fairytale, which I bought for my three year old niece. The pieces are very sturdy cardboard and well-designed. It is educational, lots of fun and a game lasts just the right amount of time for the attention span of pre-school children. It teaches counting, logic and following rules as well as taking turns. My niece loved it.
Such a fun game! Just like the story and easily played by a 3 year old and family together. Roll the dice, land on squares to build your straw, brick or stick house then on certain squares you get to flick the spinner and see which house you can blow down - I seemed to get mine blown down first - tactical and cheeky playing! The person who wins has all their buildings intact and has got to the middle point with an exact roll of the dice! All in all good fun for all ages. Not too long a game either so attention isn't lost. Good quality thick cardboard pieces too so should last a long long time!
Another great orchard game. The three little pigs is a great family game with lots of suspense throughout. My 6 year old and 4 year old love it. It's great as you think your going to win as you've got the 3 houses then bam a player spins the wolf and your back to square one again...A⭐️ Game!!
This is another of the longer play time games we have from Orchard (10-20 minutes) but the little one (3 years) loves it. Roll the dice, work your way around the board collecting pieces of the straw, wooden and brick houses which you can build and hold, but that pesky wolf will soon trying blowing your house down! Aim to be back to the center first with all of your houses in tact to win. Great game that is out of the box regularly! Quick setup and easy learning curve.
Love this game, my child loves how you Build the three different types of houses yourself (brick, stick and straw) works well along side the story the three pigs as my child loves that story, it is a fun game to play afterwards. Great traditional board game that’s great quality perfect for any young child.
played with a 5, 6 and two 7 year olds so they could manage the whole thing by themselves once shown the rules and played through it once with help. They kept playing it for quite a while with lots of squealing and pant pinching and no tears or tantrums
It's hard to find an easy board game for a four year old but Orchard toys have no shortage of them. It was incredibly easy for her to learn it, and she wants to play with us often, and we love to play this game with her. All of it is made of compressed cardboard, very thick, and unless soaked, durable.
The players have to go around the board by tossing the die and collecting house pieces. If they land on the wolf they get to use the spinner, and if it lands on straw or sticks, the wolf will take one piece of that house. When the player has built all three houses, they can try to advance to the centre house on the board and win the game.
The only disappointment about this game is that it's out of production, so whoever is interested, buy it now or forever be without this exciting game :)
Good game for young children, all orchard games are good quality, and made to last, Got a good collection,of them, for the grandchildren when they come over, This one is especially popular at the moment,as anything to do with pants is funny at that age!
