The tins are quite small, but they're only to store picks/plecs after all. The plecs themselves are pretty good quality with cool designs on them. If you're a guitar player and Metallica fan then they're a good buy. I'm a sucker for novelty things though... I like to collect 😜
First off I have to say I love Metallica and James Hetfield, so I really wanted to love these. Was really excited to recieve them as I already have the Kirk Hammett ones (which were awesome!) and was a little bit let down when I found all the picks were of the same design except for the black version. I was expecting a few different types. However I still love them, chunky feel, dont think they would wear quickly, although ill keep most of them as keepsakes!
I ordered these guitar picks as a Christmas gift for for my grandson aged 15 who plays guitar in a band. I sent other presents over to him in England but out of all of them this was the only gift he commented on. He is a teen who tends to keep his thoughts to himself so I never even asked him what he thought of any of the gifts as I didn't want to put him on the spot. I was really surprised when out of the blue he chose to tell me that he thought these were just great. No mention of anything else , just the picks.
Both case and picks are on the cheap end. The tin might not last long if you plan on using it often as its VERY thin, even slight pressure will bend the lid. The picks themselves are somewhat bland in design and are all the same gauge, and all plastic. If that is what you're looking for, its fine. But for almost £8 you're not really getting much value here, a tin that must have only been about 0.30p to manufacture (If that) and some rather standard picks.
