5.0 out of 5 stars A very effective tool to toilet train your child at night

I bought this product to assist in toilet training my 9 year daughter who despite being fully toilet trained during the day, struggles with it at night and had to wear a nappy to sleep each night although most nights it is dry. During the first two weeks of use, my daughter did wet her bed but was waken up by the alarm with each time being less wet than the previous night. After the first 2 weeks, my daughter was managing to wake up at the same time as the alarm going off and not wetting her bed. She was able to go to toilet herself. After 14 days of no bed wetting and knowing when to wake up to go to toilet by herself without the alarm going off, my daughter requested to sleep without the device as she was confident. It has now been almost 2 weeks since my daughter stopped wearing the device and her bed is dry and she knows how to go to toilet herself at night. So I definitely recommend this product very highly as it has helped my daughter to learn when her body needs to go to toilet at night. Its a great product and a success for my daughter!

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to expectations

Used this product for 1 week straight and tried all of the recommended ways to use it. The only time the alarm would go off is when it was being cleaned or just touching bare skin with no urine present. Had a very upset little boy that was excited to use this to help him wake up at night. Would not recommend.

I can't recommend this enough. My son was still wetting the bed at 8 years old. I had been told all children develop a hormone that stops bedwetting and they all develop it at different ages. However they should have developed it by the age of 8. So when he turned 8 and was still wetting the bed every single night, I was getting quite worried. I didn't want to get medical help because I didn't want him filled with drugs so decided to give this a go. We had previously used a wired alarm that he hated. This one is wireless so the base unit just sat on the floor next to his bed. This alarmed at a volume that woke us next door as well so we could get up with him. The sensor sits in their underwear. We bought some panty liners for women and cut the end off and slid the sensor inside and then stuck the sticky side of the sensor on the inside front of his pants. We decided to start this at the start of the summer holidays because we knew he would be up and down in the night and hence end up tired. As soon as there is a tiny dribble, the alarm goes off and it triggers the child to wake up and stop weeing when you can then take them to the toilet to finish their wee. This is not an overnight fix. This requires investment from both the child and the parent. After a few weeks he was still wet at night so I looked up advice online and it said even if they are still wetting but it is smaller amounts then it is working. This was the case with our son. We persevered and all of a sudden he was waking up on his own accord to go for a wee. After about 10 weeks of solid us we decided to take the alarm away. Still no accidents but one or two trips to the loo off his own back. Now 3 months from first using the alarm, he sleeps all night and hasn't had an accident since! From weeing so much at night that he was wetting through a pull, to sleeping all night with no accidents is quite frankly a miracle

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost 6yr old dry in 4 weeks from using this.

I am so glad I bought this product, cannot recommend it enough.

My 5y10m son never managed to come off nappies at night despite being successfully potty trained from 2.5years. What was so strange for us was that he isn't a big pee'er, he could hold his pee during the day for a long time. We had tried everything to get him out of the habit of being wet at night. I lost count how many times I would set my alarm and get up to take him to wee but nothing changed, sometimes he would be wet early in the night sometimes late but every morning his pull up would be completely full.
We also tried to manage when he drunk stopping drinks after 6pm etc. Again nothing made any improvement.
Then we started to research bed-wetting alarms. With such good reviews we were sure this was something we wanted to try. Our initial thought was to buy a cheapish product in the £40-£50 but what really made us think twice was that those were all wired. All our children are very active in bed so we decided a wired device was too risky. Then we started weighing up the wireless alarms and settled on this one. The price made it more of an investment but honestly we came to the conclusion that it would be money well spent if it worked.our son was nearly 6 years old and it annoyed him having to wear a pull up in bed and that it was wet every morning.
And it was the best decision we made.
We started off with his alarm sounding about 4 times in the night but by the end of the 1st week it was down to twice in the night. We noticed just how deep a sleeper our son was as when the alarm sounded sometimes he didn't wake or was doing silly things like pressing the wall to stop the noise. I would be up and standing beside him gently waking him for him to turn his alarm off and go to the loo.
At the 4 week mark he managed to go the full night dry and had 6 dry nights in a row. Then on the 7th night he was up once and after that he has been dry since. We kept using the alarm for 4 more weeks but again dry every night and haven't looked back since.
We would never have succeeded without the use of this bed wetting alarm.

Our daughter is 8 years old and we've struggled over the past few years to get her out of pull ups at night. As a last resort we tried this.

The dri sleeper arrived about 4 weeks ago and after about 10 nights she was dry. Since then it's been 15 nights and totally dry. Not one accident since then.

After 12 nights we stopped using the device and no problems at all so far.

The main problem was that she was such a deep sleepwe that she never woke up. Now, she either doesn't seem to go whilst asleep or just gets up and goes.

Can't recommend this enough.

We just made inserts into the pull ups and wrapped the sensor in toilet paper. Seemed to work fine.

My daughter has never had a dry night before until I started using this alarm.

She is nearly 9, been with the incontinence clinic for a couple of years and been on both day and night medication.

I was really torn about ordering this as last year she used a wired alarm and it caused her a lot of distress.

So, I ordered this at the very end of November 2020, nappies come off and started using it. We had a week or so of wet nights and the odd dry one but the alarm would wake her as soon as she was wet.

This alarm changed everything. We then had 2 weeks of dry nights consistently, so we stopped the day medication, a few days later we reduced the night medication and at that point just before Christmas we no longer needed the alarm. After Christmas she was off all medication completely and has now had over 4 weeks of dry nights.

This is so worth the money, the above proves how good it was for her especially as we had never had a dry night before.

Hope this helps for anyone looking to invest.

Highly recommend this to anyone who has a child who wets the bed. Our 6 year old had previously been dry at night, then unexpectedly started wetting the bed. This happened almost every night and sometimes more than once. We’d tried all sorts including no fluids within an hour of bedtime so decided to give this a go. Instructions were easy to follow. I explained how it all worked to my daughter and demonstrated to her what would happen should she have an accident in the night. Within 2 weeks she’d completed stopped wetting the bed!! When the alarm sounds it is loud! I’m a light sleeper but at the other side of the hallway and I heard it straight away, got up with my daughter and sorted the alarm out (wash, dry and place back in her pants) whilst she sat on the toilet. On initial use, when the alarm sounded my daughter had soaked her pants and bedding, but with only a few times of this happening, when the alarm did sound she’d only had a small patch of wee which remained in her pants only. It may be a big out lay of money, but this item has really turned our night time around. It’s also helped give my daughter her confidence back! She was getting very upset about why she was wetting the bed so much and said she felt like she was a baby compared to her friends. Really do not hesitate- you’ll be so happy you bought this!!

Got this product yesterday for my 6 year old. We’d been talking about it for a few days before it arrived and she was really interested in how it worked, and was excited to use it. I put her in bed with me so that I could wake her quickly if the alarm didn’t wake her. I tossed and turned all night, anxiously waiting for the alarm to go off, but it didn’t! She woke up with a completely dry nappy! I don’t know if it’s because subconsciously she understood what was happening and was avoiding the alarm going off, but it worked! We’re going to keep at it for a few weeks and see how it goes, but so far this is the best £100 I’ve ever spent! I’ve tested the alarm and it works perfectly fine. A brilliant little product.
