To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Bought the Chef’s knife because the reviews were good, only had it since May and my knife has already chipped. I take pride in taking care of my cooking ware too! It seems I have to be constantly sharpening this knife more often than my other “every day” knives. I was super disappointed about the chip 😞 it was also WAY to big for my hands and not comfortable at all. I wouldn’t say it’s Ergonomic. That was another reason why I bought it for less stress on my hands and it’s TOO much stress on my hands 🙁
Super Chef Knife. Have bought them all. High dollar German knifes, Emeril, etc. This knife stands all day next to them. I have used it for 1 month for prep of Raw veggies, meat, and cooked meat carving, cuts clean and sharp every time. Have not sharpened it once and still cuts as new. Handle/ grip fits very nice in handle
I purchased this knife following a recommendation from Burrfection on YouTube as starting knife to teach my children kitchen skills. I am very happy, it's versatile enough but not too large for them to handle. It's also very sharp so with a little mentoring I'm watching them cut stuff up instead of trying to chop through everything.
