I have thick, coarse, naturally wavy color treated hair. In other words, my hair is a hot mess in its natural state. I started using WELLA Brilliance shampoo and conditioner 7 years ago after my hair stylist (who doesn't sell products her clients) recommended I try it. I did, and I haven't looked back since. As someone who has tried every shampoo/conditioner combination, both high end and low end, this by far is the best product I've found for my hair. Even after repeated usage over years, I don't get residue and build up. The product is lightly fragranced, but nothing overwhelming or overpowering. These bottles last me 6 months, and I purchase pumps for each bottle to make it easy to use in the shower. I've attached photos of my WELLA hair - definitely not Glamour Shots, just another Thursday at the office, but hair still looks better than it did on other shampoo and conditioner brands.
Hm, I was a little torn about purchasing this duo from Amazon because I’ve used it in my salon. The shampoo lathered just fine, not overly so, and the conditioner is a fair thickness that really penetrates my hair, particularly my ends, and colored portions of my hair. I do not wash every day and will likely go longer between washes because this product is a little heavier. It smells SO yummy though, and if I need to wash more frequently, I will likely use less shampoo because it’s so effective!
Love, love, love this product. I used to have baby fine hair - now I think I'm about 40% gray (though I never let my hair go over 5 weeks without recoloring). I thought the "for Coarse Hair" description was questionable, I think that because I have gray and color (i.e. damaged hair), this product is exceptional. My husband told me my hair looks better than in years. I bought some pumps to put into each bottle so it's easier to dispense.
