Ive got mixed feelings towards this. It's an ok detangler, not the best but not the worst.
I have two daughters one has 3c/4a texture and the other has 4a/4b hair type. For my daughter with 3c hair I found that I had to be really careful not to use too much as it would make her hair wet but her curls would pop and I could glide a comb through her hair no effort. For my other daughter I did have to be more to be generous with the amount I used for it to be effective (as her hair is thick and long). It did help to define her curls and made it easier to comb/brush her hair. However for both hair types I did find it wasn't very moisturizing at all (compared to other detanglers I've previously used) so id suggest to use an additional oil/hair butter to moisturize the hair.
Oh and one last thing the smell....I personally don't like the smell of it. It's not a horrible smell but it's like a sickly perfume smell, and after a while it's too much.
Not sure what to make of this product, it seems to get the tangles out but doesn't leve my hair soft at all. Also, it doesn't work well with caster oil leaves white bubbles like the product curdles in my hair had to wahs it out.
I am BIG FAN of aunt Jackie’s products, but This one only slightly worked on my 4 years old hair. It only worked on her hair while it was still wet from washing. On dry hair by itself it didn’t even give the slightest slip thru. However the instructions on back don’t say use on wet hair. But it’s the only way it seems to slightly work. However all hair is different so maybe it does work on a different type of hair. In the video I posted, I did my best to show the “slip thru” but this was after already going thru it with wide tooth comb during washing and conditioning.
