To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The author (and Amazon description) claim this is the first workbook that combines art therapy and the 12 steps but it is not. "The Art of Recovery: A Reflective and Creative Path Through the Twelve Steps" by art therapist Whitney Nobis was published by Tate Publishers in Mustang, OK in 2010 and is also available on Amazon. I also take issue with this author's reference to SoulCollage(R), a trademarked process, which is so far from what she is doing in her example (collage) that it feels like she is only citing it to give her exercise cache. It is not a crime to be derivative, but there should be parameters!
The book was fine. My real complaint is that I found several typos and the formatting on my kindle (the only way I was able to purchase the book through Amazon) was jumbled cutting off portions of words and even sentences.
