Fantastic feeling wearing these socks. They feel incredibly weird to begin with but once you're out running, you forget that you've got them on. They definitely prevent blisters on and between your toes. However they are made of very thin material and they've already developed holes around where your toes go. So this is disappointing after only 5 or 6, 10 mile runs.
Good for the big toes for me as mine are a bit separated from the second toe. However, developed a blister on the outside of 2nd toe which never happened before even at much longer distances. Only one toe in one foot though so may be unique to me.
Overall somewhat better than standard sports socks but with that one drawback for me. Haven't tried other dedicated running socks so not sure how they compare.
La misura è giusta e calza perfettamente . Pensavo fosse una calza più tecnica e meno pesante, invece sembra una calza di lana. Adatta effettivamente per il una gita in montagna ma non per il running o per il trail running
I am not writing this review to warn you that this manufacturer is dangerous. I'm saying the socks are nice and seem to be durable BUT beware because you MAY have an allergic reaction to something in the material. I've never been known to be allergic to anything but within two days of wearing these socks, I developed such severe blisters that I thought I was going to lose my foot! Once I stopped wearing the socks, the foot healed. The reason I'm still recommending these socks is because there is no way for me to know if it was the socks or something else. I'm just noting what happened once I started wearing them. I am willing to change this review if I am shown different evidence.
after several uses (as a running sock), and with the sock still looking new, a hole opened over my big toe...on both socks. Granted...these holes were generated during a Super Spartan race where my feet were wet and dirty/muddy for about 8 miles with many up hill/down hill situations (this was the first race I had used them in), but these are marketed as trail running socks, so I expected them to stand up to this type of use. I will also mention that before a race I cut my toe nails down, and file them a little, to prevent discomfort while racing, so its not like I had long nails to cut through them. In all fairness, this same thing happened to my last pair of race sock (DryMax)(http://www.amazon.com/Drymax-Lite-Trail-Mini-Crew/dp/B002ECUSTA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400082221&sr=8-1&keywords=drymax+trail+sock) during the Spartan Sprint (2nd race I used them in)...which is why I was using the Injinji in the first place.
Either way, I bought another pair, because both pairs of racing socks I have (still looking brand new) have holes in them, and I have another race coming up. AND, between both socks I've used I prefer these, and can get them in green for the Spartan Beast.
I bought these for my dad, hoping they might be big enough to fit his x-large feet. I did some research looking for the largest size I could find and according to their website the x-large should fit 13.5+ in men's sizing. When we got them, there is absolutely no way that they fit my dad's size 14 foot. They do fit my size 12 (in women's) foot, so I guess I have a new pair of socks now. Other than being smaller than advertised, the socks do seem to be ok so far. That is why I rated them 3-stars and not lower.
