This didn't work for me, possibly because I have fine hair or possibly because I live in a hard water area. It left my hair feeling really waxy and unmanageable. It smells nice though and worked well as a soap instead! I won't be buying another.
First day of use my hair felt great, but the second day it looked and felt like I had just poured oil straight on my scalp, leaving random spots throughout my hair with a thick coat of residue. I read a lot of reviews that recommended other products to help with this, but doesn't that defeat the purpose?
Willing to give this 2 stars because it does work fine on my kiddos hair, ages 3 and 1. However, on my hair, which is fine but I also have a ton of it, it doesn't work at all. It leaves this thick greasy buildup that I have never experienced before with a bar shampoo. I love to use better quality shampoos and ones with less ingredients. I also have used multiple bar shampoos amd this is by far my least favorite. Now I will say that it smells delightful! At least to me it does! I used this for a few weeks before deciding that my hair wasn't just in a transition phases that it literally was causing more and more build up with each use. I had to strip my hair with multiple washes of normal shampoo just to get it out. Not sure why it didn't effect my kids hair as badly, I am thinking because they have Way less hair. Though my daughter's hair was a tiny bit greasy by the end of the day with this shampoo as well. (Mine was ALL day.) I wish I would have taken comparison photos from this brand to other shampoos I used craazzzyyyy. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend unless you have very little thin hair.
