I've gone through a few white coats now, and a friend recommended Landau to me. Overall, I'm impressed. The first thing I look at is the buttons. On both of my last two coats, the buttons were flimsy and unraveled off the coat within 6 months. The buttons on this coat are very strong and I don't foresee any issues. The next thing is length. The last coat I had came down to my knees which was way too long for comfort, especially when sitting. This coat comes down to about mid-thigh. The sleeves come right to the wrist, so I don't have to worry about them getting in the way. Third is the pockets. These pockets are strong and are hemmed well. I carry an iPad mini with me for drug references and medical apps and it fits snugly in the pockets. Last is the chest fit. I've never had the option of ordering in 2-inch increments like with this coat. I measured my chest and came out to just under 42 inches. I was going back and forth on whether to buy the 42 inch coat or go a size higher to the 44 inch just in case it shrunk. I ended up going with the 44 inch coat and am very happy. It fits perfectly and does not feel too big. I'm not sure if the 42 inch would have been too small, but I am happy with what I got. On the shrinkage note, I've washed the coat several times and have not experienced any shrinkage at all. To sum it all up, this is a heavy duty coat which I think will last years, unlike other cheap white coats I've gotten before. I filmed a video so you could see what it looks like. I am 6'3" for reference and 200lbs. I'd recommend this coat to any healthcare professional. 10/10.
The material appears and feels solid enough. It's still has the feel of a thick sheet. It is not transparent, but you can see the color of the clothes underneath. It has an inner pocket that can hold a thin 6" wide book. As can the two hip pocket. The sides have slits where you can reach your pants pockets. The top chest pocket holds a Samsung Galaxy 7 (in an Otterbox Defender case) perfectly. And a pen, too, in an adjacent pocket. I am 6 feet tall and 235 pounds with a belly. I can easily button the lab coat and it falls neatly around me. It takes ironing and starching well.

After purchasing this lab coat several years ago at a uniform store during my undergrad, I did not hesitate to order another off of amazon when a need arose for a second lab coat. This lab coat is of great quality and looks far more professional than many of the other lab coats my fellow students wore/wear.
