This garbage. I thought how could it be bad? Well the metal for the plate is smaller than most guitars jack holes so it doesnt overlap the hole completely. Also the metal on the plate is cheap like a lid on a tin can kinda cheap. Product is ok for a complete beater of a guitar but look elsewhere for something that's looks good and is functional.
I order LOTS of guitar stuff off Amazon and some from Musiclily is great and some not. This piece of hardware sucks. You get a jack and the football. The jack was expected to be crap but OF COURSE the hole in the football was too small to fit a real Switchcraft jack so in order to use any of it you have to drill out the hole in the football which is a PITA so to the junk pile it goes.
Screw holes barely aligned to holes on guitar even though the stock output plate looks almost identical. The jack itself is smaller than most I've dealt with previously, seems like a cheaper and inferior product. Tried fitting my EMG output jack through this plate and it wouldn't fit. The hole on the plate was too small. The screws that it came with, after close inspection, seemed to have rusted heads. Would rather take my guitar to a local shop and make sure the new plate fits there before purchase than buying this again.
i bought this because its the only one thats completely and totally black. musiclily even added a free pick which is a nice touch BUT none of my cords will fit into it like others have said. be prepared to work around that or get something else.
It isn't covering the hole for the jack, and I can see daylight through the gap. The bend of the metal doesn't match the curve of the guitar. I'll try re-bending it myself. Not planning to return, so I'll keep it until I find something better. It's a cheap part.
This won't sit flush and plating is not good. Maybe ok for a repair on a low budget instrument but not quality at all. These are yellow not gold. They don't color match with standard gold hardware, unless it's yellow.
