To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Very dangerous. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT . Plugged it in and instantly started smoking and heating up. Had to throw it outside. Melted all the plastic , connections are shorted it seems. This will destroy your game boy. DO NOT BUY IT
Does not fit in the micro’s battery compartment. Bought one from amazon and one from eBay of the OSTENT battery. The problem is the wires come out of the top leaving no room to fit. The original battery had the wire coming out of the side from within the battery itself...super pissed at this trash junk product DO NOT BUY!!! REVIEWED SEPTEMBER 2019!!!
If you're looking at all the reviews trying to decide if this darn thing will work or not, let me help: Yes, it fits.
No clue how much of a charge it holds, how long it will last, or whether it will one day catch on fire and destroy my bloodline. I needed a battery to test my "junk" micro and it works perfectly for that. Its not as easy to pop in as the original battery (having a nice set of sturdy tweezers helps to get it in place), but with a little wiggling and gentle force, it popped back in.
There will hopefully be a 700+mah version coming soon, but this works fine for the price.
I had just one small issue terminal was a little too tight You just have to be real careful pushing it in Place But overall work perfectly fine I'm satisfied I suggest this Item for others. I Used it on my Game Boy micro After a couple years it's back and running thanks 👌👍
I'm indifferent on how to rate this as the product works. So, that's a plus. However; it's too wide to fit in the space provided for the GBM. You cant put the battery cover back on. You would need to tape it or ghetto rig it in some sort of way - I returned mine.
i recently bought a game boy micro that wouldn't boot or charge. bought this replacement battery and i was unable to plug it into my micro. after checking the connector, it seems the guide rails on the side are not in the correct position, so the connector won't plug in. i ended up using a blade to shave them off and now the battery plugs in and seems to be working. i've been using it for about a week now and so far no issues.
I ordered a battery last year and it didnt work, fast foward one year later and I decided to give it another chance. Took awhile to plug in the battery to the system but now my micro holds a charge again with no problems!
