you guys know there's a difference between the ds battery and the ds lite battery right? i ordered a ds battery and you gave me a ds lite battery. i mean its fine since I just so happen to coincidentally be getting a ds lite tmr that needs a new battery, but I didn't order a ds lite battery.
don't buy guys, just cause mine came out alright even thought its not what I ordered, its still not what I ordered and it wont be for you either
If you need it as a temporary replacement it works just fine, BUT your mileage may vary.
It holds a charge, but not for that long, takes just as long to charge it back up, I'd just recommend using it if you can't find a suitable replacement, but if you really need a replacement I'd just suggest holding out until an OEM one shows up on eBay, only use this as a last resort.
OR, even better; If you haven't thrown it out, and it still works, keep using the battery that came with it until you find another one, this one was just rather lackluster.
We only charged this battery 2 or 3 times and now it won't take a charge. When you turn on the DS it comes on for a brief moment on powers down. Put in the old OEM battery and it turns on okay. Would not recommend.
The screwdriver that comes with this particular replacement is not sturdy enough to actually unscrew the battery compartment. Luckily I had a good one from a previous replacement. Battery too new to review charge time but would be worthless if I were unable to unscrew the compartment
