Wow!!! Is all I can say about talented author Suzie O'Connell and her ability to weave a story that you cannot help but feel like you are experiencing it first hand.
Suzie has a unique ability to develop her characters so that you cant help but fall in love with them. Plot development is another aspect that Suzie has mastered with her ability to develop a story that has highs and lows, friendship and love and an ending that is well worth the read. There is continuity throughout all of her books in terms of character and plot line development.
I discovered Suzie's books earlier this year when I read First Instinct and have since purchased and read them all of Suzie's books and am now eagerly awaiting her next release.
I truly recommend any and all of the novels by author Suzie O'Connell and although you don't have to read them in chronological order, I do suggest you start at the beginning and characters are introduced along the way and you will get to fall in love with them like I did.
Suzie O'Connell's heart-warming stories from Northstar, Montana, are a real treat to read. In Twice Shy, we meet two wounded souls. Local deputy, Aaron, whose beloved young wife died of gunshot wounds in a crazy incident, nearly five years ago. And newly divorced photographer, Skye, who was treated badly by her ex and is just starting to heal from the loss of strength, trust and confidence that he caused. With Skye in Northstar to attend a friend's wedding and have a photographer's holiday, she meets Aaron and his precocious daughter, Jessie, who are also in attendance. The two quickly feel drawn to one another, despite all the feelings and doubts that surface. Little Jessie plays her part in encouraging their togetherness. By the time Skye is due to return to Washington, Northstar is beginning to feel more like home. And Aaron is determined to get Skye back in his arms as soon as possible. Another gentle romance with a happy conclusion.
