3.0 out of 5 starsThere is a lot of good stuff in here, but it’s about 2-3 times longer than it needs to be

There are many truths in here, and as is the usual for Simon Sinek, it’s all very well written. There are 2 major flaws however that keep this book from deserving another star: 1) it’s way too long. 2) some of the explanations, especially on the neuroscience side, are shaky at best.
He simplifies things to make a point, he makes assertions that should be opinions to make a point. It’s fine to do this in conversation, but not so much in a book that attempts to educate. It’s also not necessary: the points he’s making don’t need artifice to resonate.
