While the product smells nice and I'm knowledgeable enough to know to only use it once a year or during accidental circumstances, this product isn't actually safe to use for more regular use. While aloe vera is great for people, it can actually be toxic for ferrets. While the product works for rare usage, please do your research before buying.
Really needs a foil seal on the bottle, received today with half the product leaked out into the bag and all over the bottle, this was part of a Christmas gift, and want me to pay to ship it back, I just won't buy again..... not worth the hassle or the mess!!!
This product works as described, but after doing a lot of research I found it is not good to bathe your ferrets in. My ferrets itched persistently for a few days after their bath with this. Also, bathing your ferrets more than once every 6 months or year will make them smell worse and is not good for their skin. From now on I will only give them oatmeal baths... Just put some oatmeal in a sock and soak it in the warm water for a few minutes. Much cheaper and better for the ferrets.
